Botswana singer Vee Mampeezy returns with a scorching new tune titled “Pelo, ” featuring South Africans Makhadzi and Prince Benza.
A look into the music history shows this isn’t the first time he’d worked with South African musicians. He’d worked with them multiple times. And we expect the collaborative run will continue.
Vee Mampeezy, easily one of the key voices in Botswana music, shows repeatedly that he’s earned his stripes. He’s as engaging as they come, and his latest drop affirms that.
One can’t tell why he elected to work with Prince Benza and Makhadzi, but there’s nothing to fault about their collaboration. They did well together. And besides nodding to their offering, it’s easy envisioning them collaborating again. After all, as the saying goes, one good jam deserves another.
The two guests on the song have themselves collaborated previously and did great. Makhadzi is one of the most entertaining musicians from the Rainbow Nation, and cans have never been able to get enough of her.
And while the same cannot be said of Prince Benza, he’s a fine musician all the same and one worth having on a playlist.
Go ahead, then, and vibe with the “Pelo” tune from Vee Mampeezy and his associates. No qualms.
