Actor David James Apologises Over Racial Slur

South Africa is one country that has experienced the dark bend of racism, symbolised by the apartheid government that ruled the country for decades. The apartheid era is long over, but racism is still a touchy subject.

Not surprisingly, when people make racist comments, it usually attacks a lot of attention. Well, actor David James found himself in the crosshair recently over the comment he made about his colleague Brenda Ngxoli.

She recently complained in a post on social media that during the shooting of “Winter to My Skin” in 2017, the actor used a racial slur to address her. Both of them were on the set of the flick.

her revelation created a buzz online, with some of her compatriots condemning the actor for using the K-word. You can check out the post below.

The criticisms and condemnations must have gotten to him, for he finally apologised for having used the word to address her during the shooting of the films.

He released a statement where he wrote in part: ” I deeply regret any hurt Ms Ngxoli felt. I am sorry this regrettable incident still haunts her seven years later.” Well, some of Brenda;’s fans thought he should be forgiven and some pointed out that he only apologised because her revelation could destroy his career.
