After 2 Years of Separation, Cardi B Files For Divorce From Offset

Back in 2018, in an Instagram video, “WAP” rapper Cardi announced she and her husband Offset had separated and were planning on getting a divorce. Fast forward to 2020, she has accelerated the process with a formal application for divorce from the songster with whom he had a daughter, Kulture.

Cardi B and Offset got married in 2017 and separated a year later. However, they remained close and worked on a couple of projects following the separation. Cardi B has decided to formalize it all with a filing for divorce.

Papers filed at the Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia yesterday 15 September 2020 indicated she might have decided to finally divorce the Migos rapper because he has consistently cheated on her.

Cardi B’s team insists the marriage with Offset is “irretrievably broken” and that there is “no prospect for reconciliation.” Also, in her application, she is also seeking full custody of their daughter Kulture

Offset, whose birth name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, is yet to comment on Cardi B’s application for divorce. We’re following the story all the same and might update you along the way.
