Popular radio personality DJ Fresh has lent his voice to the call for help in rehabilitate Nkosi’s Haven, which was gutted by fire recently.
Nkosi Haven is the other name for Nkosi Johnson Orphanage. A fire outbreak in the facility reportedly destroyed blankets, clothes, beds and other valuables, leading to a massive call for aid.
DJ Fresh, who has been in the industry for over three decades, has just taken up the call, imploring others to contribute whatever they can, even if it’s just blankets.

He made the call via his verified Twitter account (@DJFresh SA). His call has received mostly positives responses. However some Twitter denizens are hitching on that call (DJ Fresh’s post) to ask for personal aid to resolve one challenge or the other.
By the way, Nkosi Johnson Orphanage was created for kids who have lost their parents to HIV/ AIDS pandemic and waifs suffering from the virus. The orphanage was named for Nkosi Johnson, one of the earliest advocates of HIV/ AIDS awareness in South Africa.
