Nelli Tembe might be gone, but her memory is still pretty fresh and many out there are yet to get over the news of her sudden and tragic death. She had reportedly fallen off a five-star hotel in Durban.
The late Nelli Tembe’s fiancée AKA has not spoken since her passing. A Zoom prayer meeting was held for the late 22-year old model. Speaking via Zoom, AKA’s father Tony Forbes recalled meeting Nelli Tembe for the first time.
He described her as respectful and confident while sympathizing with the Tembe family over the tragedy.
Tembe’s family members were represented by a spokesperson who spoke well of Nelli.
Details of what actually happened to Nelli Tembe are still sketchy. Although both families have released a statement acknowledging her death, there was no clue on whether she jumped off a hotel roof or fell off it.
Until her death, she was rumoured to have been suffering from depression and had even attempted to jump off the roof of a Durban hotel in December 2020. The police had reportedly restrained her at the time.
