Cassper Nyovest has just revealed that he will not be attending the memorial and funeral service of his compatriot and fellow rapper AKA, who was gunned down just outside Wish Restaurant on Florida Road in Durban on February 10.
The songster had earlier tweeted his condolences to the family o7 the late rapper as well as his fans and others who might have been affected by his sudden death on the streets. Cassper Nyovest had also encouraged his fans to send their love to AKA’s fans (called the Megacy) and family.
Of course, Cassper’s fans have been curious about whether he would attend AKA’s funeral or not. One of his fans even noted that whether he attends or not, he will still be criticised. One fan put up a question asking whether Cassper would be attending.
Cassper replied that he would, unfortunately, be out of the country for work and therefore would not be attending the funeral. But for work, according to him, he would have attended the funeral and the memorial service of the late AKA.
Cass and AKA had a longstanding rivalry up to the point that the “Fela in Versace” rapper was shot at point-blank range and killed.
