The drama continues between Emtee and his partner (often called his wife) Nicole Chinsamy. He was reported to have assaulted the lady, who is said to be seven months pregnant for him at the time. But he denied the assault claims, insisting that he would never raise his hands against a woman or anyone for that matter.
But Nicole popped into his Instagram live stream with images to prove that he indeed assaulted and injured her. The “Prayer” chanter immediately panned the camera away from her. This action convinced many that he indeed assaulted her
Anyway, it was soon confirmed that Emtee handed himself to the police over claims he assaulted Nicole Chinsamy. Police spokesperson Mavel Masondo confirmed the songster had turned himself in on Wednesday, March 8, and was charged to court the same day.
Masondo also noted that Emtee was charged at the Midrand’s Magistrate Court the same day he turned himself in. He was also granted bail.
These events apparently contradicted what Emtee had claimed earlier. But the recent spat with Nicole wouldn’t surprise anyone who has been following his relationship with her. The two have had sporadic fights which spilt into social media, with Emtee claiming that Nicole’s family were after his life.
