Alleged Copyright Violations: Ntando Duma Sued For R200k

Mzansi actress Ntando Duma has been sued for alleged copyright infringement.

The celebrity photography agency Pixel Kollective had sued the actress for using one brand’s picture for another brand’s campaign.

The actress reportedly used a picture taken by Pixel Kollective during a social media campaign but failed to mention the agency as the source of the photo. The said picture was used to promote a  snack company called Simba – an action that riled Pixel Kollective, leading to the court case.

Ntando Duma, who’s a brand ambassador to Simba, has been quiet about the controversy. The actress had a superlative 2021, and as far as she’s concerned, she’s going to have a grander 2022 and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.

Last year, she bought a house as well as a car, leaving no one in doubt that she’s got big goals and will stop at nothing until she achieves them.

Well, it cannot be determined how the crisis with Pixel Kollective will be resolved, but fans are optimistic that it will be over soon enough.

At any rate, we’re following the case and will bring you more details on it soon. You may want to follow us and stay tuned for updates.
