Ayanda Ncwane On Real Reason For RHOD Exit

The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) might be the in-thing for some right now, but Ayanda Ncwane is totally uninterested in the show. In fact, she thinks it’s too small for her.

She had participated in the first season of the reality show but announced months back that she wouldn’t be returning for the second season.

True to her words, she stayed from any appearance on the show, which left fans wondering. And then she she finally clarified the reason for her exit and why she wouldn’t be returning to the show.

In a post to social media, the widow of the late Sfiso Ncwane clarified that she had laboured so hard to build her brand for her to be reduced to just a housewife. At the time of her exit, though, it had been claimed that she left because the show didn’t respect her late husband’s legacy.

By the way, while on the show, Ayanda Ncwane had been slammed for what some viewers considered tribalism. She was speaking in Zulu when she stayed that fellow Kgomotso was not a Black person but a Tswana.

Some had considered her statement blatant racism then, but her core fans had risen to her defense, stating that was how people were addressed locally.
