In a turn of events that has many South Africans talking Ayanda Thabethe and Peter Matsimbe’s Bryanston double-volume house has been put on sale for R19.5m.
It was a reality that some people had predicted all along allegedly because Peter Matsimbe had been under investigation for fraud. Allegedly, he is currently on the run, with the authorities closely hunting for him.
The home is one of the most opulent in the Bryanston area, which is also where many celebrities live, including the late rapper AKA.
Among others, Peter and Ayanda’s Bryanston home, which is not for sale, boosts, of a Jacuzzi, an infinity pool, a guest cloakroom, an open-plan kitchen, a formal lounge, five bedrooms and five bathrooms.
Peter Matsimbe disappeared from the public after news of his fraud investigation popped up online. Since then, the police have reportedly been looking for him, with no clue about his whereabouts yet.
With his Bryanston mansion now on sale and Pter himself nowhere to be found, all attention has been focused on Ayanda Thabethe, who has so far remained mum on the whole drama, including the whereabouts of her lover. It will be interesting to see what happens in the coming days. Stay tuned.
