Gqom Queen Babes Wodumo is angry with her mother-in-law right now and has revealed plans to take the old woman to court.
In case you missed it, just over the weekend, Babes Wodumo had gotten married to her boyfriend of many years, Mampintsha. It was to have been a happy moment for the couple but Mama Mampintsha made it clear she’s not a fan of the marriage.
In fact, in a video currently circulating online, she had denounced Babes and her family, accusing the “Wololo” hitmaker of faking her pregnancy in order to trap her son. She said she has no idea what Babes would give birth to – “a cat or whatever.”
Displeased by Mama Mampintsha humiliating her publicly, Babes, speaking on the issue, accused Mampintsha’s mother of arriving at her wedding drunk and making unreasonable demands.
While Mama Mampintsha denies Babes Wodumo’s pregnancy, the gqom artiste insists she’s pregnant and will give birth to a child, whether the elderly lady likes it or not.
So far, Mampintsha has been quiet about the crisis between his wife and his mother. Will he allow Babes take his mother Gumede to court? The coming days should reveal a lot. Stay tuned for updates, if you please.
