South African musician Babes Wodumo has penned a heartfelt tribute to her mother-in-law who died recently. Zama Gumede died recently, after reportedly suffering a stroke – just like her son and Babes Wodumo’s husband, Mampintsha.
Although they never had the best relationship, Babes Wodumo opted to push aside their differences in death and share some kind words about the late lady.
In a post shared on the Facebook page of her late husband, Babes Wodumo had bid Zama rest in peace while also urging her to greet her late husband Mampintsha when she gets to the other side

The post had many South Africans sharing their thoughts as well. With some wishing her a good rest finally and others accusing Babes Wodumo of having hastened Zama’s exit from the material plane.
Before Zama’s death. She was said to be suffering from a couple of ailments. She had been rushed to the hospital and one of her daughters had implored the public for funds to take care of her medical bills. Sadly, she didn’t make it out of the hospital alive.
It was especially tragic because her son had died weeks earlier. Details of her funeral will be out soon. Stay tuned
