Apparently Mampintsha’s mother was not the only one opposed to him getting married to gqom queen Babes Wodumo. Some of the songstress’s friends were opposed to her getting married to him as well.
This much was revealed in the debut episode of the couple’s reality show Uthando Lodumo.
Known for following her heart, Babes Wodumo had gone ahead with the marriage plans with Mandla Mampintsha. It hasn’t been all rosy for her and Mampintsha, though.
Prior to the wedding, the two have had several tiffs. In fact, at some point, the two had trended when a video of Mampintsha hitting her popped online. The case landed in court. Mampintsha was granted bail. Thereafter he’d made peace with Babes Wodumo and they have been inseparable since, working together like nothing ever happened.
The friends who had opposed her marriage to the West Ink boss were worried Babes Wodumo would change after her marriage and would no longer send them expensive champagne.
Well, Babes Wodumo herself would only affirm Robert Frost, that they wouldn’t find her changed from whom they knew, only more sure of all she thought was true.
