Amid plans to release a new joint with Nigerian singer Wizkid, South African music producer DJ Maphoprisa has claimed that his protégé Mlindo The Vocalist and his road manager Nyiko backstabbed him.
In a recent post to his Facebook page, the amapiano ace noted that when Mlindo The Vocalist came to Johannesburg, he knew no one and had nothing, so he (DJ Maphorisa) decided to give him a road manager (Nyiko).
At the time, he claimed that Nyiko was broke but hardworking. Two years after, according to him, the duo cut him off, with Nyiko officially becoming Mlindo’s manager.
He regretted that people would shit on you with the food you gave them. Now Mlindo has indicated his interest in returning to Blaqboy Music, which DJ Maphorisa owns.
The DJ isn’t against the idea because, theoretically, according to him, Mlindo The Vocalist is still his artiste. They might drop a jam soon. Until they drop that number, it might interest you to know that Lawd Porry isn’t mad, having created a large room for disappointment.
