Balenciaga BDSM Kids Ad: Fan Calls Out AKA, Rapper Reacts

Balenciaga’s error is Balenciaga’s business. That appears to be the verdict of South African rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes after a Twitter user called him out alongside other celebs for not saying anything about a controversial Balenciaga ad.

Just recently, the luxury brand shared a series of picture ads that showed children flaunting BDSM gear. The ad campaign elicited so much outrage the brand had to pull down the ads and tender an apology. It even went as far as archiving all the content on Instagram.

Some celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, called out the brand and described their action as unacceptable. Apparently, Mzansi celebs didn’t follow suit, which prompted the Twitter user to call ut some of them.

The user wondered why the people with the most followers are quiet. He tagged the likes of Thando Thabethe, Anele Mdoda, Pearl Thusi, Cassper Nyovest, and AKA.

In reply to the tweet, AKA had made it clear that the whole thing doesn’t concern him. He isn’t worried because the luxury brand isn’t worried about him. You can check out the tweet below.
