One thing every unknown artist would pray for right now would be to get famous and be known for the work they put in. However, it seems that there might be a price attached to it.

The talented rapper Big Xhosa, who gained fame after getting on every rapper’s nerves with his freestyle, has since earned many admirers and fans all over the country. He even bagged a collaboration with Big Zulu last year, and the reviews were impressive.

Big Xhosa has opened up about feeling lonely since becoming famous. In a new post made on social media, he revealed he has had to buy himself gifts and imagined someone else got them for him.

He wrote, “I’ve never had no one do something nice for me since I got popular. Even on my birthdays, I buy myself gifts and try imagine if someone bought it for me. I’m always on the giving side than the receiving side. Not complaining but as my career grows and I’ll get to new heights, I’m beginning to understand that I’ll never be genuinely loved unless I’m providing something. It’s okay though.”
