If you are a big fan of dinger Billie Eilish, you probably recall that at some point, she opted to turn her locs into blonde. Well, she has just addressed that transformation.
By her own account, she faced an identity crisis of sorts following the change to blonde locks. It didn’t feel authentic, and thus came a strong desire to return to her natural locs.
The switch to blonde happened back in 2021, with many getting to see it forfirst fist time at the Met Gala. During a recent interview, she gave insights into the decision to dye her hair blonde.
It was a path she wanted to take – and took. The only thing was that after dying her hair, she started experiencing a crisis of sorts and was like, “Oh, I have no idea who I am.” It was a weird feeling but one from which she learned a thing or two.
Interstingly, according to her, speaking during the same interview, she had blue hair at the start of her career. That changed soon enough when she became famous, with a lot of experience on the beat as a singer. There goes the reality of a Grammy-winning singer of American provenance.
