Somizi Mhlongo was very excited about the fact that the internationally-acclaimed South African DJ, Black Coffee performed at his wedding.
The popular SA Idols judge and radio host took to social media to make a post of appreciation.
On the #Somhalewedding Showmax special, Somizi Mhlongo revealed the asking fee of Black Coffee.
Somizi Mhlongo and Mohale had one of the most elegant traditional white weddings in Mzansi that was graced by several popular celebrities including Bonang Matheba, Thando Thabethe, Cassper Nyovest, Boity Thulo, and a host of others.
Viewers of Showmax special are watching the highlights of their wedding in excitement. One of the highlights that the viewers enjoyed watching was the incident that happened at their wedding when Thando Thabethe caught the bouquet.
Another highlight of their star-studded wedding was Black Coffee’s incredible performance.
Somizi Mhlongo took to his Instagram page to talk about the great surprise moment.
Somizi wrote:
My dreams came true last night. What a pleasant surprise. This man was supposed to be performing overseas and he decided to surprise me at the end of the evening and played at our wedding.
I cried like a baby with excitement. I’ll forever cherish this moment. And to all the performers, we thank you.
During the Showmax special, the SA Idols judge also talked about the touching moment.
He said:
Then Black Coffee happened…best surprise ever. To get Black Coffee is a dream come true for us. We love him. He was part of our dream list, but hey, $100k…we don’t have it.
A hundred converted to rand is over R1.7 million. Woah! Who knew that Black Coffee was making such amount of money per performance?!
