Celebrated disc jockey and producer Black Coffee has denied he ever assaulted his estranged wife Enhle Mbali.
Fr the past few days, Enhle Mbali’s claims that black Coffee assaulted her have made headlines across South Africa. But Black Coffee had not spoken about her allegations.
Now, according to him, in the interest of his family, he has to address the issue. While acknowledging gender-based violence is a serious issue in South Africa, he denied ever hitting her as she claimed.
He stated that as a kid he had witnessed gender-based violence (his father did hit his mother), so he vowed the same would never happen in his household. According to him, he has kept to that vow.
He described as regrettable and misleading her claims that he assaulted her. Black Coffee insists her claims were nothing but an attempt to keep him away from his home and his kids.
