Black Motion Denies Split Rumors And Promises New Music

Black Motion has reaffirmed their commitment to working together to create music for many more years to come.

Black Motion, a South African music band, has once more had to clarify the situation when rumors of their breakup arose. The initial rumor, which surfaced sometime in April, said that the DJ pair was breaking up because both members wanted to concentrate on their respective musical careers.

The two quickly responded to the rumor on social media by sharing an official statement in which they made it plain that Black Motion would not be breaking up any time soon and that they intended to continue releasing music and giving live performances for many years to come.

“Black Motion members Thabo Mabogwane, aka Smol, and Bongani Mohosana, aka Murdanbongz, have not parted ways. Black Motion still exists and has plans for more years to come. The only change which does not affect the duo is that Murdah has rebranded himself from Murdah to Mörda. This is because he is preparing to launch his solo career as a DJ, but still remains part and parcel of Black Motion,” read the statement.

Additionally, Black Motion made an extra effort to put the matter to rest by declaring on social media on Wednesday that their breakup is just another rumor.
