Rappers, Blaklez and PdotO release statement postponing the drop date for their joint album “Lost Diamonds”.
Guys, this may be sad to hear but if it’s for the best, then it’s alright. Mzansi rappers, Blaklez and PdotO have had fans hyped up since they announced their first ever joint album “Lost Diamonds” on social media.
We have all wanted to hear the album which was initially scheduled for a Friday, August 21st release. They have now released a statement announcing that the album’s release has been postponed to 6 days after the initial drop date. That’s on Thursday, August 27th, 2020.
They revealed that the postponement is due to last minute logistics. This is to embrace the opportunity to market the project to a wider audience. The statement also reveals that the 14-track album is expected to be one of the most success projects of the year across all genres. The optimism is quite laudable.
Of course, a joint project from two of SA Hip Hop’s most talented acts will be expected to take over the airwaves. “Lepara” rapper, Blaklez revealed that his “Bear Energy” project will be released after this one drops. He also stated in a tweet that it is ready for release.
