SA Hip Hop star Blxckie has opened up about his successful music career and working with Nelly Furtado and AKA.
Three years back, Blxckie was only a rapper to watch. Somehow, we all felt he would be one of the best artists on the scene because of his incredible talent and all the work he puts in.
The famous emcee recently interviewed with TimesLIVE about being strategic with his career. He also opened up about working with International star, Nelly Furtado on several songs crediting his manager for helping make that happen. He said,
“I have a very dope manager, shout out to Nandi. She’s been in the industry for a long time, and she’s well travelled also. I think that’s where it came from. But I don’t like to force features, it sort of just happened. I was just there in the studio sort of showing her what I want to do and she understood it.”
He also spoke about working with the late AKA on his latest album, “Mass Country.” He stated that AKA wanted him on the project to get an R&B feel. Read the full interview here.
