Buhle Maseko Bags Role in ‘Champions’

Popular actor and radio personality Buhle Maseko has reportedly bagged a new role in “Champions.”

The talented actor Buhle Maseko, best known for portraying the role of Nimza in ‘Skeem Saam’ has reportedly secured a role in “Champions.” According to a report by The South African, Maseko appeared in the series alongside actor Tumisho Masha in this week’s episode.

The publication reports that he is the latest star to join the show after Mandla Gaduka, made his debut as Lebo’s (Thato Dithebe) father and Lebogang Tlokana known as The Funny Chef. Maseko also wears many hats. He is a host on Capricorn FM radio.

He also made headlines in 2023 when he announced that he had ventured into the property business. Taking to his Instagram page, he made the announcement, writing,

“For all your property needs, feel free to get in touch with me and the Kago M team. We have industry professionals on standby waiting to assist you with all your property-related needs.”

We don’t know if his character will have a recurring feature in the show. Phathutshedzo Makwarela, “Champions” Executive Producer said about the show,

“It’s a celebration of ambition, positivity, and the resilience of our people. Tshedza Pictures is thrilled to collaborate again with Mzansi Magic, and we eagerly anticipate the moment our viewers will join us on this incredible journey.”
