Nigeria’s Burna Boy has linked up with Coldplay’s Chris Martin for the music video of “Monsters You Made.” The song was part of the Nigerian musician’s recently released “Twice As Tall” album – a symbolic compilation which, although not expected by some peeps to snap international attention, did just that.
“Monsters You Made” is one of the first songs in the compilation to receive a music video. One should not be surprised, however, as the song is one of the most engaging in the album itself.
It is apparent the current Black Lives Matter #BLM advocacy is a key inspiration for the song. According to Burna Boy, inequality and racism are most often what predisposes the blacks in America to violence.
