The Billboard International Power Players List is out. Among those who made the list is Bose Ogulu, the mother and manager of Nigerian songster and “African Giant” Burna Boy.

Congratulations have been pouring in from around the world for Bose Ogulu following her big win.
Bose Ogulu, who is also known as Mama Burna, was honoured for her role in the release of Burna Boy’s Grammy-winning “Twice As Tall” album.
Commenting on her win in a video posted to Instagram, Bose Ogulu acknowledged there are doors on the way; she has broken one of them; and she is looking forward to breaking more doors. You can watch the video below.
Bose Ogulu might be famous as the mother and manager of Burna Boy, but she’s also an accomplished translator with an MA in translation from the University of Port Harcourt. Besides her nativ Yoruba, she’s fluent in German, French and English
