A week ago, “WAP” rapper Cardi B filed for divorce from her husband of three years Offset. Court documents indicated the marriage had broken down irretrievably.
At the time rumours had swirled around the world that the controversial musician was divorcing the Migos mate because he had a love child with another woman.
Also, fans and friends alike have been sending her their best wishes, hoping she is okay. Cardi B says she’s been seeing the prayers and love from her fans but she doesn’t really need them, as she hasn’t shed a tear over her split with Offset. She’s in a good place, actually.
She said the claim that Offset had a baby from another woman and she divorced him because of it was a “complete lie.” The marriage was actually not working, according to her. She divorced Offset because she got tired of arguing, got tired of not being in agreement with him.
The beauty of the relationship was just no longer there and it appeared pointless continuing in it, so she decided to take a walk.
She is quoted as saying: “I just got tired of fucking arguing. I got tired of not seeing things eye to eye. When you feel like it’s just not the same anymore, before you actually get cheated on, I’d rather just leave. Nothing crazy out of this world happened, sometimes people really do grow apart.”
By the way, the couple had a daughter called Kulture. Both will be co-parenting. It has been reported that Cardi B is not seeking financial support from Offset.
