Cassie was seen with a family for the first time since settling the lawsuit with her ex-boyfriend Diddy.
American singer Cassie Ventura has been in the news since reports surfaced that she had sued her ex, Diddy, for rape and severe sexual and physical abuse. More reports revealed that the two settled the suit out of court hours after it was filed.
We hear they settled for $30 million, after which the lawsuit was dismissed earlier this week. Due to the nature of the dismissal, Ventura will never be able to file the suit again. The case was reportedly dismissed “with prejudice and without cost or fees to either party.” Diddy has been photographed outside his house in Miami looking sad and solemn since the settlement happened.
Cassie was spotted for the first time since the settlement with her husband, Alex Fine, her mom, and her daughters in the New London, Connecticut home. She looked happy, with a smile on her face, as they arrived at her parents’ house.
She was also pictured walking along the sidewalk with her daughter and helping her husband unload things from the car. Their representatives released statements announcing they had reached a mutual decision to “resolve the matter amicably.”
