SA Hip Hop star Cassper Nyovest has reacted to the passing of famous boxer Simiso Buthelezi.
The nation is mourning the passing of boxer Simiso Buthelezi who collapsed during a fight after which he was hospitalized. Buthelezi was fighting for the WBF African lightweight title against Siphesihle Mntungwa in Durban’s Greyville Convention Centre on Sunday when he passed out near the climax of the match.
Brain damage was discovered after he was transported to the hospital. Buthelezi died later. Condolences have poured in since his death was made public. SA Hip Hop star Cassper Nyovest also took to Twitter to react to the boxer’s death.
He praised the late boxer for his bravery in entertaining South Africa in a ring. “It takes a true warrior to get in the ring and entertain people through the fistic art.” He also sent his condolences to Buthelezi’s family. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
