American boxer Floyd Mayweather is known to be a big-time shopper, always spending lavishly from his impressive fortune. He appeared to be in a spending mood when he came to South Africa as part of his Motherland Tour (which also took him to Zimbabwe).
A clip of him shopping at Markham is currently generating buzz online, with some tweeps wondering why he should be checking the prices of items in the mall.
In fairness to the retired boxer, in the video, which you can check out below, there was actually hard evidence to determine whether he was looking at the prices or not. A man buying clothes should look at what he was buying, and that was what he was apparently doing. If the price tag is on the cloth, that is a different argument entirely.

Mayweather is known to be one of the wealthiest athletes out there and known to be an avid spender who flaunts it all, so it is pretty hard to believe he was out in South Africa checking clothes to see how many rands he had to spend.
By the way, the American had a black-tie dinner as part of his visit to South Africa, where he got to meet with several local celebs.
