Chris Brown Says He Was Disinvited From NBA All-star Celebrity Basketball Match

Pop and RnB star Chris Brown accuses Ruffles of disinviting him from the NBA All-Star Celebrity Basketball Match.

“With You” singer Chris Brown recently shared on Instagram that he was invited to join the NBA All-Star Celebrity Basketball Match but got a call again saying sponsors like Ruffles were against it.

The potato chip company released a statement refuting the claims. It read,

“Ruffles sponsored last night’s NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. However, we did not have any involvement in, nor visibility to, any player decisions or celebrity invite discussions.”

Brown took to his IG Story to slam their statement. He claimed they attempted to salvage their reputation by not owning up to what they allegedly did.

He wrote, “[Ruffles] [with blue emoji caps] I guess yall tryna save face now!” STAND ON BUSINESS. Don’t try to make it look like I’m trippin. YOU AND THE NBA representatives know exactly what yall are doin.”

He shared a second story, saying,

“I HAVE NO REASON TO LIE. YALL KNOW I DONT CHASE CLOUT! The only Reason they responded is because of all the team breezy fans flooding they s**t.”

“COWARDS!! YALL KNOWN DAMN WELL I AINT LYING BECAUSE I NEVER BE ON THIS TYPE OF TIME. These b***es tryna save face.”
