Cop Shoots Nursing Partner Dead At Tembisa Hospital, Facility Sealed

A woman was reportedly shot and killed at a Tmbisa hospital, forcing the medical facility to shut down.

The Tembisa Provincial Tertiary Hospital in Ekurhuleni had to close down after a cop shut his partner, who’s said to be a nursing assistant at the facility.

According to some observers, the police officer, who has not been named, stormed the facility and shot his partner before turning the gun on himself. The nurse died on the scene but the killer cop s said to be in a critical condition

Although the SAPS stormed the scene soon after, it has yet to release an official statement.

The crime scene was barricaded as soon as members of the SAPS arrived, with investigators combing the area for clues.

The Gauteng Department of Health Confirmed the shooting. A spokesperson for the department, Motalatale Modiba, advised people who want to access healthcare services at the Tembisa Hospital to visit nearby health facilities as the Tembisa Hospital is temporarily closed.
