Cotton Fest Set To Hold In Cape Town This December

Riky Rick’s Cotton Fest is scheduled to hold in Cape Town this December.

Great news for all Cotton Fest fans. The fun music festival is scheduled to happen in Paarden Eiland Park in Cape Town on December 10. Fans are excited about the new announcement.

Riky Rick’s family has kept their word to continue the event to preserve the rapper’s legacy. The festival was created by Rick in 2019. The event features some of the most prominent artists in the country performing on two different stages. It also includes fashion and sports bringing more variety for festival attendees to enjoy.

It is tradionally hosted in Newton, Johannesburg but it will be happening in Cape Town this time. In a shared statement, co-founder Alain Ferrier said, “This started out as a great idea between Riky and I many years ago to create a whole culture movement called Cotton Fest. As such, alongside his family, we are extremely excited to be building on his legacy and extending the festival to my city, which was always part of our plans. Cape Town, you’re up next, the ‘University of Cotton Fest’ will officially open for registration next week.”
