It has emerged that the lady who had filed rape cases against DJ Fresh and Euphonik (@Nampree on Twitter) was not formally informed of the outcome of her case, but the two accused were.
DJ Fresh and Euphonik had shared the outcome of the case, letting the world know that the National Prosecuting Authority of South Africa has thrown out the case for lack of merit. They had thanked those who stood by them amid the controversy.
Following DJ Fresh and Euphonik’s statement on the throwing out of the case against them, Sunday Worked had published the contents of a witness statement @Nampree had provided when she filed her case against the two DJs.
This irked a not-for-profit organization called Women Inspired Solutions for Empowerment (WISE), which had taken interest in the case. The same organization had also revealed that the rape accuser had not been given the courtesy of knowing the outcome of her case before those she accused.
However, News24, in a recent report, claims that the accuser was actually informed of the outcome f her case, via WhatsApp. The investigating officer had reportedly stated that the court will not be processing the case.
