Veteran disc jockey and producer DJ Cleo is overwhelmed with gratitude twenty years after he popped on the music scene, and keen to honour the man who was instrumental to his breaking into the music industry: DJ Fresh.
In a tweet on January 8, DJ Cleo had shared a picture of him and DJ Frsh together in the studio. He said about that time he was starting work at YFM as technical producer and mix DJ under DJ Fresh. Same year, according to him, DJ Fresh had made it possible for him to break into the music industry.
He ended up by saying he’s going to buy DJ Fresh a car for having been instrumental to his breaking into the music industry.
An excited DJ Fresh, shared DJ Cleo’s tweet, noting it’s been a journey indeed for DJ Cleo, moving from an obscure music figure to a maker of hits. He said he is eternally proud of DJ Cleo, adding, ultimately, that he loves him.
DJ Fresh is one of the oldest DJ figures in radio and had been instrumental to the rise of several artistes. Not long ago, DJ Tira had thanked him as well for his role in his lifting.
