DJ Karri took embattled football star Lerato Chabangu out for lunch, and they both had a good time.
The story of Lerato Chabangu’s downfall is one that Mzansi cannot ignore. The footballer, once dubbed one of the best stars to ever play in the DStv Premier League, is now a shadow of what he used to be.
He recently opened up about his challenges and how he lost everything he owned, including his houses, on an episode of “I Blew It.” He said he couldn’t even make a public appearance because of shame. The episode has been making rounds on social media, and fans cannot stop talking about the once-successful football star.
Taking to his Instagram page, DJ Karri shared a picture of himself with Chabangu. They were both captured having a good laugh. He wrote in the captions,
“Today, I visited mfethu Lerato Chabangu. The truth of life is that we all make mistakes, and everyone deserves a chance.”
Days after sharing that photo, DJ Karri was seen in another post with Chabangu. The two posed for photos after they went out for lunch. He revealed that he took him to the mall to overcome his fear of going there “because people laugh at him.”
