Piano hit maker, DJ Maphorisa says his collaborative song “Izolo” with Tyler ICU deserves big Award wins.
Well, no one does it like Phori. Everyone in Mzansi has come to understand and appreciate that. He continues to prove this with the music he delivers. Months back, DJ Maphorisa dropped “Izolo” with Tyler ICU and the game changed.
The song which features contributions from Madumane, Mpura, Daliwonga and Visca became a massive success. It has raked in major numbers across various platforms, and also gained praise from fans all over the country. Taking to his Facebook page, Phori shared his thoughts on what he thinks the song deserves.
He listed categories the song should win including Song of the Year, Best Collaboration of the year, Best Video of the year, and Best Verse of the year. And no, he doesn’t think he’s capping. A large percentage of his fans think he’s right too.
