April 1 is one day many people look forward to as it is another opportunity to make merry and try to make fools of others in the spirit of the day – April Fool’s Day.
Well, one of those who used that day to good effect was South African media personality Arthur Sbusiso Leope, long famous simply as DJ Sbu. In a post on his official Instagram page, the songster has announced his return to Radio 2000 of the SABC network.
For good measure, he shared pictures of him with his contract, holding it for the camera at some point and signing it in another. He looked happy.
DJ Sbu was formerly part of the SABC network but was fired for advertising his Mo Faya energy drink during a SABC event. His firing from the station saddened a lot of people, who had become used to him.
So his announcement on April 1 that he was returning to the station left many South Africans ecstatic.. The only thing is that the Guinness Word records holder is not returning. His post about returning was just an April Fool’s joke.
