Dladla Mshunqisi says he could lose everything due to the restrictions of the ongoing lockdown.
It is no longer news that a lot of artists have been hit hard by the ongoing lockdown in the country. The ban on events have lead to the postponement of various shows, causing a halt in the income of many musicians.
Gqom artist, Dladla Mshunqisi has revealed he is one of the artists affected by this. The Durban star trended last week after the protest on the N3 freeway, when a video of him running from the police trended on social media.
In a chat with Isolezwe, he revealed that he could lose his house and cars if the restrictions of the lockdown are not eased. According to him, the three months given to him by the bank to pay back a loan have been elapsed, and things could get ugly if the Entertainment Industry is not opened up again.
He also stated that he isn’t happy with the way the police treated them during the protest. He is also preparing to drop a new song tagged “Goliath” which is expected to be a banger.
“This is really sad. We had been working and saving money, however, we had never prepared ourselves to be out of work for such a long time. As we speak, the three months I was given by the bank to pay up have passed.”
