Country music legend Dolly Parton sends Beyoncé a Country welcome as she celebrates her recent number-one single on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
Beyoncé is killing it, and everyone knows this. The popstar recently sojourned into the world of country music, and it is already rewarding. According to reports, Bey’s first country songs are doing really well on the charts. The Queen snagged a number one on the Billboard Hot Country and also copped her highest debut on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs chart at number 2.
She became the first Black female singer to debut at number one on the Country songs chart and also joined Taylor Swift as the only women to do so. Country music legend Dolly Parton has extended a warm welcome to Bey as she prepares to release the second installment of her “Renaissance” album, which will feature Country songs.
The iconic “Jolene” singer and songwriter shared an image on Instagram Thursday night that read: “I’m a big fan of Beyoncé and very excited that she’s done a country album. So congratulations on your Billboard Hot Country number one single. Can’t wait to hear the full album.”
Beyoncé’s new album is expected to drop next month.
