Donald Trump’s First Wife, Ivana Trump, Dead At 73

It’s a sad moment for the Trump household, which has just lost its matriarch, Ivana. She was 73.

Ivana was the first wife of the former president of the United States, Donald Trump. She’s also credited with helping to build the man and his empire, including his famous Trump Towers.

Donald Trump announced her passing in a post on Truth Social, a social networking app he founded following his controversial exit from Twitter several moons ago. In his post, the former president noted he’s sad about her passing while at the same time letting the world know she died at her home in New York City.

In a statement, the Trump family traced Ivana’s history, noting that she had fled communism in now-defunct Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic and Slovakia). She carried with her family lessons. Including compassion and grit, which she also taught to her children

The couple married in 1977 and divorced 15 years later, in 1992. Ivana is the mother of the former president’s eldest three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric – in that order.

The news of her death has provoked messages of condolence from political figures and ordinary folks alike. Details of her funeral will be out shortly. Stay tuned y’all.
