Dr Malinga Takes A Bold Business Move, Encourage Celebs To Not be Afraid

Dr Malinga encourages celebrities not to be afraid of starting their own business.

Dr Malinga is not just a music maker anymore, he is now also an entrepreneur. Dr Malinga has proven this by opening a new resort in Soshanguve in 2019. The talented musician, after achieving his entrepreneurial success, is also urging other celebrities to embark on alternative money-making ventures instead of relying on just entertainment.

Goodwill Malinga, known professionally by the stage name Dr Malinga has shown that he can also manage his own business by opening his resort.

Dr Malinga is proud of his accomplishment and he has remarked that his resort, Linga’s Resort, has the biggest pool in Tshwane. The musician has plans to make the resort more entertaining by adding slides.

Dr Malinga is not just a resort owner. He also manages other businesses including Linga’s water, Kick It Safe condoms and Linga’s atchar. It is reported that the popular musician also plans to launch a school shoe range and also a range of swimwear.

Dr Malinga now encourages other celebrities to seek other means to earn more money. Serving as an example and a form of motivation, he said:

As entertainers, we see so many people die broke. It’s always good to have a side business. You will never be broke in January.

We have other celebrities that have also diversified into other areas instead of relying on entertainment. For example, DJ Zinhle owns a business, ‘Era by DJ Zinhle’ where she has a series of watch ranges. She also owns a furniture line with the name ‘Jiyane Atelier.’ Bonang Matheba owns ‘House of BNG. ’ Other celebrities that have shown their business skills include Oskido, who owns Maps Maponyane’s Buns Out restaurant and a Japanese restaurant in Woodmead. Thando Thabethe’s underwear label, ‘Thabooty,’ spanned out of the desire to celebrate all body types.
