Drake Confirms September Release Date For “Certified Lover Boy” Album

Canadian rapper Drake has just confirmed his intensely anticipated album “Certified Lover Boy” will be out on Friday, September 3.

Days back the iconic rapper had “smuggled” the release date into a Sportscenter broadcast, leaving many social media users joking that he’d hacked into Sportscenter systems to share the date.

And for those who thought that was some accident, the songster took to his Instagram page to share the same release date. The post showed multiracial pregnant women feeling their baby bumps

The message was clear enough. Drake is “pregnant” and about to give birth (to “Certified Lover Boy”). The caption to the post reads, verbatim: “CERTIFIED LOVER BOY SEPTEMBER 3.”

The Canadian would not have to compete for that date with American friend turned adversary Kanye West. Ye had shifted the release date to September 3 as well. However, Universal Music decided to release the project days earlier- or so Ye claimed in a post to Instagram.

Well, it is inevitable fans should compare the numbers of Drake’s and Ye’s albums later given how they had fought over release dates for months before their projects dropped.
