Elvis Presley’s Prized Possessions For Auction August 27

The king is dead! Long live the king! Elvis Presley might be dead, but the singer’s memory is still very much alive. And now fans all over the world have a chance to bid at what remains of his possessions going to auction later this August.

Often called the king of bling amassed many priced possessions, some of which will be going to the market later in what has been dubbed a walk into the island of memories by some of the musician’s fans.

While he was alive, Elvis Presley had given his manager Colonel Tom Parker some priced pieces, which would be actioned off on August 27. The auction goes by the title “Lost Jewelry Collection of Elvis Presley and Colonel Tom Parker,”  taking the names of the great musician and a man who played a significant role in his career.

Of particular interest in the items set for auction is the 14-karat yellow-gold TCB ring, which was personally designed and owned by Elvis Presley himself. It is so named because it bears the letters “TCB” and is encrusted with diamonds. The minimum bid for the item is a princely $500,000.

Also going for the auction is Presley’s personal Jetstar jet, which he bought for his father. The minimum bid for that is $100,000.
