SA Hip Hop star Emtee calls himself an international artist as he announces his Empire Africa deal.
Mzansi is genuinely proud of how well Emtee has pushed his career since splitting from his former label, Ambitiouz Entertainment. He opened Emtee Records and helped raise some of the new rappers in the Hip Hop scene.
The star recently took to his Instagram page and shared photos of himself in the studio, announcing his new distribution deal with Empire Africa. The label is known to be behind the international success of Nigerian singers Fireboy DML, Asake, and Kizz Daniel. Emtee also referred to himself as an international artist, writing,
“You’re looking at an international hip hop artist now. Thank you @empire @empire.africa for believing in me. I’m really about that work. I show you.”
The post got a reaction from his friend and admirer Sjava, who wrote,
“I don’t know what it is about you, but what I know is that whoever is around you who is not inspired or levelling up, it’s their fault!”
Emtee is preparing to drop his next album, “DIY3.” This could mean that Empire Africa will handle the distribution of the project on the international scene. Shout out to him.
