Emtee urges fans to stop streaming and buying his albums “Avery” and “Manando”.
Everyone knows that Emtee is one of SA Hip Hop’s biggest contributors. The talented Mzansi artist, has dropped some of the best albums to have hit the airwaves in a while. Even while they were released years back, they’re still very profitable till date.
However, he isn’t in support of his fans showing that much love to the albums. He even went as far as asking them to stop supporting the albums because he isn’t making money off them.
The Hustla replied to a tweet listing the 15 top Hip Hop albums in the country and called himself the greatest for appearing on it with an album he isn’t profiting from.
However, when a fan reacted to the post highlighting his work on “Avery” and “Manando”, he urged fans to forget about them because the “sales and stream money isn’t coming to me”.
An album I released 4 years ago that I’m not getting the money for on this list? I MUST BE THE GREATEST. https://t.co/DHO2GCLfxf
