Gabriel struck a deal with Antoine and Alfie and refreshed things based on inspiration he got from his grandmother Gigi. Luc and Emily planned to bring Marianne in to make Gabriel achieve his plans.
There was a little twist when Emily broke this to him. Perhaps grateful, he kissed her hand. Camille caught him doing that, which provoked her to call off her engagement. Theirs wasn’t a perfect relationship, of course. They had their challenges, but the kissing appeared to have done the greatest damage and caused Camille to pull out.
It doesn’t end there as the spectre of Camille’s “pregnancy” comes into play. Also Gabriel seemingly still has feelings for Emily, something Alfie noticed and decided not to ignore in making his relationship move.
