FakeAno gets real in a compilation titled “African Boy” EP, which, although not an Africanist fest, will attract attention nonetheless.
It’s almost a year since FakeAno released his debut project, “24,” but as should be apparent from his latest release, the songster has not depreciated in musical appeal with time. In fact, the latest body of work hints at an artiste who has worked on his craft in the couple of months he appeared “missing” on the scene.
“African Boy,” is at once charming and entertaining, giving the listener peeks into the world and experiences of the musician – a fine world. The latest compilation spots 5 songs in all and features the likes of CK The DJ, Jillz, JiggyWorldwidee, Sphum and Xavier Steeze.
Five tracks might not be a lot for an EP, but then FakeAno has managed to put together a compilation that will appeal to many out there. You surely wouldn’t think twice deciding to have this body of work on your playlist.
