Amanda Bynes was foder for the press for much of last week after news broke that of an alleged “psychotic episode.” Some online publications had climed that she was found naked in the streets and placed on psychiatric hold for 73 hours.
However, her fans have disputed the claims, insisting that she knew she was having a “psychotic episode” and had to seek for help from the public herself.
One tweep expressed displeasure about the claims being made about her, noting ion Twitter that she has experience in mental health caregiving . She insisted that, contrary to what is being peddled out there, the former child star, who was recently released from a nine-year conservatosrship, was not found naked.
She insisted that Amanda actively sought help and called 911 for her own safety. One person who hasn’t said anything at the moment amid the storm of opinions flying about is Amanda herself. She is currently getting the medical attention she needs, and many fans have praised her for recognising a crisis and seeking help immediately.
Hopefully this is only a phase and one that doesn’t intrude in her life much later. At least that has been the prayers of many of her fans on Twitter.
