Fikile Mbalula Praises SAPS For Solving AKA & Tibz’s Murder Case

Mzansi politician Fikile Mbalula has commended SAPS for working hard to solve AKA and Tibz’s murder case.

Mzansi is happy to hear the updates on AKA and Tibz’s murder. South African Police Minister Bheki Cele held a late-night conference at the South African Police Service (SAPS) headquarters on Tuesday night and said six suspects involved in the murder have been arrested.

He stated that they are due to appear in court on Thursday. He was joined by the KZN provincial commissioner, Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, and National Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Fannie Masemola.

Mkhwanazi said, “These six suspects played different roles during the operation. We have the coordinator, who is basically the master of everything. He is in custody. We have two shooters. We have two spotters — one of the spotters was inside the restaurant observing, watching Mr. Forbes and his friends — as well as the organiser of firearms and vehicles; because the vehicle used as a getaway and firearms used to shoot, they were all hired.”

ANC Secretary General Fikile Mbalula shared a tweet commending the South African Police Service (SAPS), including General Mkhwanazi and Minister of Police Bheki Cele, for the work they did in solving the case. He wrote,

“Good morning, South Africa, I personally want to extend a hand of appreciation to south afrcan police service for the arrest of AKA killers ,Special thanks to the commissioner and his team in Kzn General Mkhwanazi and the Minister of police.”
