As the planned fill-up event draws near, the man behind it all, Cassper Nyovest, has announced he is looking for new talent to join him on stage for the event – Fill Up Mmabatho Stadium.
The event will take place in his hometown, close to his grandmother’s house, where his musical career took root and has been a part of his success ever since.
In a recent post on his verified Instagram page, the songster announced what he dubs Fill Upo Mmabatho Stadium North West Talent Search. To participate, tweeps would have to use the hashtag #FillUpMmabathoStadium and tag their music faves and DJs. They can join through Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using one of the hashtags on the flyer, which you can check out below.
The songster wants his people to be involved, so this one is for the hometown. Winners will be announced today, 27 October. The excitement in the comment section of the post is best imagined. Fans and celebs alike dropped words or emojis indicating their emotive states.
The fill up exercise was started years ago but was inactive for two years because of the coronavirus pandemic. It is picking up from where it stopped, and Mzansi is excited.
